Biography

Lolo Marie Achebe is a London-based entrepreneur, educator, property operator, fashion founder, media builder and philanthropist whose story moves from early responsibility to modern institution-building. As the first of four children raised by her late mother, Esther Uwaibi, a single mother and businesswoman, Marie learned young what it meant to contribute and be depended upon. After university and several conventional 9-to-5 roles, she realised that entrepreneurship was a better fit for her creative drive and appetite for ownership. Fashion became her first business school before she moved into London’s property and hospitality sector, where she built a serviced-accommodation operation of more than 55 apartments across commercially sought-after areas of the capital. Having entered the industry without a personal mentor and learned through costly mistakes, she founded Digital Property Boss Academy to create a clearer path for others; Marie says her coaching has since helped more than 400 people enter the Airbnb and serviced-accommodation business. Today her wider ecosystem includes MARLEX Apartments, House of Zalex, ACHEBE Africa Digital Academy, ACHEBE CAMPUS, ACHEBE UGC Creators, media initiatives and Achebe Hope Foundation. Across them all runs the same idea: learn deeply, build practically, and use what you know to widen somebody else’s opportunity.
